This June I started working on a new ballet for the Australian Ballet's DanceX Festival, which will debut October 15 at the Playhouse, Melbourne. This bite-sized story ballet looks like it will have a few twists and turns. The piece will be performed alongside the West Australian Ballet, Bangarra Dance Theatre and Stephanie Lake Company. Costume and Scenic design by the hugely talented Karine Larché.

In August I return to Singapore to create my 4th piece for this Company. It is such a privilege to have such an enduring relationship with this group and I can't wait to get back to them. The mixed bill also includes works by Natalie Weir, Alice Topp and Christina Chan. Premiere will be 31 October at the Esplanade Theatre, Singapore.

HOUSTON BALLET
So happy that Houston Ballet has announced Filigree and Shadow will be part of their 2023/2024 Season. Created in 2015 for the Australian Ballet and restaged by them in 2018 and 2019, Filigree and Shadow was first performed by Houston Ballet in 2018 just after Hurricane Harvey had caused so much flooding and damage to the city. I arrived to find a company who despite their huge challenges, were heroically living the mantra, 'the show must go on'... Now, with their theatre resurrected, I'm so honoured and thrilled to be asked back to re-stage Filigree - a ballet about courage and resilience... More info to come
